We are new sugarcrm users (professional edition) and we are looking at work flows and campaign management options right now. Our sales process is not complex but we do want to automate the process (as much as possible) from lead to purchase. We have a few different emails that need to go out at various times (some time driven, some action driven). We also have a range of direct mail and email campaigns in our pipeline.
It appears SierraCRM is the most talked about solution on this forum. I'm curious to hear any pros/cons regarding SierraCRM vs custom development. Has anyone had much success doing it themselves or is the Sierra product worth the purchase?
Any thoughts are much appreciated.
