    Default Marketing Email Not send on the set time for Campaign

    Hi
    I have defined a Campaign , and I was able to do "Send Test" successfully , I could send Email using "Send Emails" .
    I think I am not facing problems simillar to
    My Problem is different , I cannot send mail by setting time using "Start Date & Time: *" in Email Template setting

    Did I miss some steps here , My campaing Status is "Active" ; My Email Marketing Status Setting is also "Active "

    i have the same exact problem. At first i thought the server time was setup incorrectly, but I fixed that problem. I then went back to the campaign and added a few more queues all set to active with each email sending in 5 minute intervals to test internally. The mails never get sent at the specified time. I just used the campaign wizard to do the campaigns. Test send works just fine... but the send mail and queues don't seem to work.

    I changed my setting in scheduler for mass campaign to send mail every one hour , I checked up with the crontab , it is as per the documentation . In spite of this my Campaign does not send mail on scheduled time or by itself . I have to rely on SendMail option .
    I could live with this now

    I finally got it to work. My installation is a self contained one in the /opt/ directory.

    So basically, it was not enough to just set up a campaign and email. These steps is what I took to get it to work after much research:

    1. Setup crontab:

    crontab -e
    * * * * * cd /opt/sugarcrm-5.0.0b/htdocs/sugarcrm; /opt/sugarcrm-5.0.0b/php/bin/php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1

    2. Setup Schedulers (these executes from cronjobs):
    Log into SugarCRM as Admin, and go to Admin page:
    From Admin page go to Schedulers and create a "runmassEmailCampaign" job.

    3. Setup campaign with working email with bounce.

    Note: It looks like the "Send Mail" button in the Campaign page only adds it to a Queue and does not actually send the Campaign. So if you schedule a mail to be sent out at 9:00pm, if the Campaign only sends it to a Queue at 9:00pm and then the "Schedulers" pick it up and actually runs the job. The "Test Send" button actually sends it out right away.

    --To see the Campaign Queued Mail that has not been sent:
    Admin > Manage Email Queue

    I have exactly the same problem with SugarCRM Community Edition version 5.0.0f. The server i runing under Windows 2003 server. Can some one help me please, i tried to do like kingstar but nothing changed. thanks

    I am unable to configure the batch file needed for make the campaign email automatic based on a schedule time set previously.
    Any kind of help will be appriciated.
