Newsletter frequency

i set up a newsletter campaign with monthly frequency
i started it manually on 27 Jan and the mail were queued
during the the night "Run Nightly Mass Email Campaigns" sent all emails

on 27 Feb i was expeting sugar did queue and devlivery automatically but nothing happened

any help about it ?

Hi,

I think the frequency is only there as information. This does not autoamtically trigger the newsletter each month. Makes sense in a way, you don't want to resend the same newsletter each month

malcolmh is right. The frequency is just an information.

For scheduling a campaign every month you have to create an email marketing linked to the same email template. All email marketing must be related to that campaign.
Each email marketing will be configured to send the campaign in a specific month.

After create all email marketing you want you can send the campaign. This operation will create an entry for each combination of campaign, recipient into each prospect list and email marketing. This entries will be saved into table emailman, under module EmailMan, which is triggered by the "Run Nightly Mass Email Campaigns".
Only will be sent the combination which matchs the scheduled time and current time.
