Subscriptions in Contacts

I'm having a heck of a time trying to move around newsletter subscriptions using the drag and drop. On rare occasions it works, but mostly it takes the drag and drop and then puts them right back when I go to save. It has to be something I'm doing, but I can't figure out what. Any suggestions?

After checking all permissions -- still no luck. Then I checked why one Newsletter seemed to function by another did not. The difference I found was that somehow, one of these was missing a suppression list. I put it in and it worked fine.

This causes me to once again say that if you are a newbie especially, you should use the wizard to set up campaigns because it seems to work better and you don't forget necessary parts.

Yeah, I had the same problem. But in my case the solution was NOT to use any other list but the system generated ones (subscription, suppression, test). I originally added another one (that came from another campaign) but the effect was exactly the same as you described above. After removing the additional list all is fine now.
My advice: Before one starts to fiddle with campaigns and newsletters - give yourself two days of trial and error. Then even the wizard may not be necessary any more. For German readers wrote a few pages on the campaign management that may be helpful (download from my web page)
