Good Morning all
Sorry if this is not the right forum to place this post. Our company supports CRM applications for pharma companies in our country using Siebel Software, and also some other technical services. Some of our customers are big Pharmaceutical Compnaies, however we offer another kind of services to small ones. One of this small pharma customer, is thinking about the posibility of starting a CRM project, however Siebel prices are too high for them. We have been testing SugarCRM 5.0 Community for a while and seems like an interesting tool to work with.
However we have some doubts about if we could recommend this tool to these kind of companies. They would like to get a CRM tool that can allow them to start getting inside this world,Call Center, Marketing Campaings, Sales Force automation (Calls, Meetings Invitees, sample products droped per call...), local clients, mobile solutions and SugarCRM looks ok
Our initial question relies in the sentence we find in the SugarCRM website: "Software for Small and MidSize Companies". How can we measure if our customer is too big for this tool? number of users? size of DB?... Server Architecture needed? I have seen that AXA is using actually SugarCRM and that does not sound like a "small Company".
Another question, is that even we buy the Professional or Enterprise edition we will be able to customize our processes to fit our customer business needs.
Is there anything already designed for this industry? Would you please mind sharing your thoughts about this questions? we will really appreciate it.
Regards
