Ok so we have been able to send out a couple campaigns with some success.

However I would love for someone one to point myself towards info on how to

- manage your invalid email / suppressed by domain from a campaign
- manage email templates; I can image the more campaigns we build the more templates stackup
- is it possible to send a text only and html campaign out at the same time with the same email template? another words if a contact can only read text only emails what happens to html emails received?
- avoid sending to the same email address during campaign

Hi there,

I'll take a stab at the third question...

When you edit your email template, there's a check box that says "edit plain text". When you click on that, an editing window opens below your regular editor, and you can put your text-only items in there.

As a best practice, you can include a link at the top of your email that says, "having trouble reading this email? Click here" which takes them to an HTML page that's hosted on your website. We do this with our newsletters at Sugar.

Thanks for the link, I sat thru that podcast about 3 weeks ago and found it very helpful however I need to learn what folks are doing for the next clean up/management portion.

The campaign manager takes care of duplicate email addresses automatically. In other words, if you have duplicate email addresses in your target list, the email will be sent only once.

There is a email templates module under Campaigns and Emails (in the shortcut menu) that will allow you to manage your email templates.
