    Default Test Message Won't Send to Targets

    Hi,

    Whenever I attempt to send a newsletter (using the Campaign Wizard) the email fails to send to any Targets in the Campaign's Test List. It will send to Users without a problem but fails to send to Targets. Despite the fact that the Target's have valid email addresses, it gives them a 'Send On" date of 1996-08-15. From there the emails are never sent.

    Although this doesn't appear to be a problem when sending the actual mail-out, it does occur during testing...

    Anybody else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

    Hi robbiea, we sent to 'external" test targets all the time here as part of our process. We're interested to see how different mail readers handle our newsletters.

    Maybe the test targets block the email at the client? If a user obtains the test email there s/b nothing that prevents the other targets from receiving it.

    Hi im arlene i have same problem here. I try to send a message using external mail client and i configure it correctly but i cant send email, when i confirm it in the sent message the status is error. Can u help me fix the problem, Thank u so much

    I am also having this problem.
    I'm using Sugar 4.5.1f
    PHP 5.2.5

    I get the date "8-14-1996 at 11:00 am" on my test emails set to send as well, but nothing ever sends. I host online, and this only started happening after moving the program (and website it's attached to) to a new server. I'm wondering if it's got to do with the move, and if so, what would cause this?

    I've double checked all the outgoing and incoming email settings and passwords which all seem to be correct.

    The real emails don't seem to send either. I really don't know where to turn to fix this issue, and this is a key to using SugarCRM, so if anyone knows, please let me know.
