Tracking Newsletter Campaing

Good Morning all

We are trying to set up just one newsletter campaign where we want to run a Newsletter Mail Campaing Plan that will send, to the same target list, a set of newsletter mails on different dates. We are using SugarCRM 5.2

I mean we have a target list, a Newsletter Campaing, and 4 different email templates to be sent on differnet dates.

My questions would be

a) Is it possible to set up the Global Campaign plan (just one campaign record), programming which mail template is going to be send on each date?, if so how can I do this?, because I know this can be done for a Campaing but only including "one" mail template, later on if you want to send other mail template (different), you have to open the Campaing, select the new mail template and set the correct new date again. Is it possible to set it up one by one to compose this Plan of Actions, at once, or we do need to set up 4 different mail campaings.?

b) If we set up a mail campaing like this (One Campaing Record, containing 4 mail templates), where we are going to send 4 different messages, at the time we would like to track the results, would it be possible to identify, for each target in the list, which mail did he see or not, or how many tics per different message he made..... or again this must be done with 4 different mail campaings?

Making all in once will be much better, as we can perform then a marketing segmentation of our target list easier than splitting all this work in 4 campaigns

Hi there

anyone who can tell us if it is possible to track the restuls of different mail sents within a same marketing Campaign? How must we do it to execute a mail marketing plan which involves sending different Newsletters?

The only problem I see if we go for the different set of SugarCRM marketing Campaigns is the unsubscription list. I mean if we have a target list and in the first marketing campaing there are some people that would like to unsubscribe, if then we create a second marketing campaign to send a second newsletter to the same target list.... how can we use the first unsubscription list?.

About your question a), yes is possible to have 4 differents mail templates for a campaign. You just have to open your campaign and then create 4 marketing mails for it. Then for it market mail you can select the proper mail template.

Thanks a lot Rafael, this was my idea also, however in order to track the different "results" on each mail sent.... will this be possible to get it reflected somehow (in the campaign status char for example or in any other way...)
