Web to Lead Autoreply Email

I searched the site and want to be 100% sure. I would like to immediately reply via email, with a CC, whenever anyone completes a web lead form. The reply MUST include some of the information contained in fields from the form. This is simple to do with Salesforce. But, it seems to me that this is not possible to do with Sugrar Community Build. (I am using Sugar Community Build Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150).)

Am I right? Is this not possible?

What you could do is use the work flow definitions.

Upon creation of a new lead, send a template alert e-mail that would reach the recipient and that e-mail can contain info from the fields.

Go to administration and in the studio area you will see workflow.

Hmmm... I am attempting to do the same thing, but I do not see "workflow" in the studio area... am I missing something?

Hi,

You are both right. In the Community editio there is no workflow component. This is reserved for the PRO & ENT versions.

You can do an auto-reply to an inbound email in the Admin Inbound Email function, but not if a lead is created directly in the system. The only way would be to write a logic hook to trigger the auto response email

Anyone that switch from Salesforce to Sugar might have run into that issue.

Here my backgroud:
I served customer using Salesforce for the past 2 years. Now, a new customer is using Sugar so I decided to give it a try, So the majority of my reflex are base on my Salesforce knowledge. I'm absolutly have no programming skills. Writing code does not looks like a solution for me. We are running On-Demand Sugar Pro Version 5.0.0g (Build 3391).

Here what I trying to acheive:
- Setup multiple campaign (DONE)
- Create a web-to-lead form (DONE)
- Capture lead into Sugar with the campaign ID (DONE)
- Trigger an email to the lead to thank him for registration (WORKING ON)

Now if I can make this work, I would than want to add this :
- send different email based on which campaign the leads are coming from.

I'm sure I'm not the first one who need this, it seems to be very basic CRM features, and comming from Salesforce, where it is so easy to do, I'm struggling to find help on this.

DRFPoulin: you mention that we can do it with Workflow, but where I get explanation on workflow to do that?

I would like to do the same but I have the professional? I looked at the workflow definitions and tried setting some up. Why does this seem so complicated? I thought this would be something like creating actions in Outlook.

I am this stage and indeed contributed earlier to the thread (phillipevans). I am on Professional on Demand 5.2

- Web 2 lead form done
- Created Work Flow definition
- Trying to create work flow definition - Problems
- Within the rules; I want to create "when" a lead is created with a field value that Contains a Campaign equal to XYZ .... send email auto responder

Within the drop down menu for selecting the specified field "Campaign" does not exist?

Naturally I'm very confused

Wouldn't the module "Process Manager" help in this?
That is our plan, it is a module that works on the Community Edition.
