Hi - I'm trying to give Users permissions to the Calendar module. Admin has permission to access the Calendar, but I cannot see how this is set up. Does anyone have any advice they can give me please? Thanks.

That is so weird once the Calendar module is accessible by any user, unless some admin user had created some restrictive role and added all normal user into its.

Thanks. The only User with access to the Calendar is 'Admin' - I cannot see where this permission is granted - I would really appreciate it if you have any further advice for me.
What is the version of your system?
Did you install any package or customize anything on your system?
Have a look on Roles at admin Page.

Hello,
I've had the same problem , my solution was to include the module calendar in the tabs. Going to Admin > Configure modules. Then all users have access to it.
I hope this solves your problem.

I have the same with 5.2
If I go into the admin configure tabs, the admin has calendar listed but the users don't even although they are admins.
How do I get calendar into the tabs list?
TIA
Glyn
Hello Glyn,
Do you have "Allow users configure tabs" selected in the admin configuration?

Hello Carles,
The actual label is allows users to hide tabs. This is ticked.
This is in administrator:configure tabs
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Not sure if it is relevant, but I am running on Ubuntu 9.04 server
Cheers

Try to unchecked and configure the tabs.

Thanks Carles,
I am not sure but it may have had something to do with the default language pack. Any way, I installed the UK English pack, ran a repair and then went through all the rebuilds on the repair page. Then taking your advice, I checked the configure tabs and there was the calendar on the hidden list! It was not there before. I moved it and the users now have calendar.
No idea what caused it but it is now fixed.
Cheers
Glyn
