    Default Outlook plugin for SurgarCRM

Is it possible to associate a meeting or call with contacts attending when entering the meeting into Outlook then synchronizing to SugarCRM?

    Thanks for the help

This is not really how the outlook plugin is designed to work. The appointment syncs for the Sugar user account, and not for contacts that are attendees to the meeting. The ideal way for this to be done would be to schedule the meeting through sugar by going to the contact and entering an activity on the activity sub-panel. As you add sugar users to the meeting the sync will pull these down to the outlook calendar, and by adding it in sugar the meeting will be tracked in the contact activity and history.

There is a workaround that may work for you. After sending a meeting request you can see this sent item in the sent folder of outlook. You can archive this to sugar, just as you would an email. This is not ideal because it goes to the history as an email and not a meeting.

    I hope this helps

The functionality you are looking for is offered by Riva Integration Server. Riva associates the meeting with all of the attendees who are contacts in SugarCRM. Riva can be configured to automatically create a new contact for attendees who are not already in SugarCRM.

You can read more about Riva and view Quick Tour videos at:
