Permissions on config.php?

What do the permissions need to be on config.php?

I am getting the warning:
Warning: The config.php file needs to be made unwritable for security purposes.

IE: What do I need to chmod to?

Basre with me I am a linux newbie.

I screwed up the permissions after a failed 3.5 migration.

chmod -Rf 777 config.php =. do this from the smart root dir.
