Hey Guys,
New to Sugar, and need to figure out how to build a report that would allow me to say:
Give me all contacts who have purchased product X but NOT product Y
I'm using SugarCRM Pro, and can't seem to find any way to do this. Even just finding all Contacts who haven't purchased Y would be sufficient.
As I understand it now, the way the report builder works is that I can add filters to the search that would allow me to say:
Contacts > Products WHERE Product IS X, AND/OR
Contacts > Products WHERE Product DOES NOT EQUAL Y
This would show me all of the contacts who have purchased X even if they had purchased Y since the purchased products are stored as separate records and would be tested against the validation one at a time, correct? If so, even if I were to remove the first filter and just stick to" where the product does not equal to Y" would return an even larger result set, and still would return contacts who have purchased Y if they had purchased another product.
Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this, or if I'm going to have to customize the reporting module.
Matt
