Vendor Module

Does anyone know if a vendor module has been created? It would be great to have a vendor type list to classify vendors such as "parts supplier", "flooring", "Accountant", "Local Government" etc.

Also what good web sites are available to download modules?

Hello,

although there is no separate Vendors module, you can use the Accounts module to hold your vendor information. There is a 'type' field on the Accounts module, so you can add an item for 'Vendor'. you can also add the other values mentioned, or create a separate dropdown to store that information.
