They are completely different.

My Portal is a feature in Sugar Open Source or Pro/Ent - that just shows other web sites inside an iframe within Sugar.

SugarPortal is a customer self-service portal available only to Pro/Ent users at extra cost.

Just to add some context, Sugar Portal is meant to be a customer facing web site that allows your customers to login, add cases or tickets, post bugs and share documetns with you. It does cost extra, but if you have a customer service department or support center, it can be very good way to drive customer self sufficiency.

After registration , if he want to login then from where he got username and password to log into portal ?

Just a question, is it possible for a contact, using SugarPortal, to edit its own contacts'info ? (in order to update his phone number, for example ?)
And do you know where I can find some more information about all of the possibilities about the SugarPortal ?

My Boss needs a customer side access to our information, but I need to know which informations I can give to our customers using, eventually, sugarPortal.
