    Angry Won't re-login after first time

    I installed both 3.5 1 and 4.0.0, and they both seem to have the same problem:

    After logging in as admin, you can create a new user. However, after logging out, you can't login.

    The new user can't login either, although it appears to be present in the SQL database (using the mysql command line, and scanning for users.

    Everytime you try and log in it just re-prompts for a username and password - no error message or "bad password" message is issued.

    It's like it's brain-dead after the first login.

    Any ideas ?????

    Ok ... dug down deep enough.

    See: http://sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4606 and check this out.

    We run Fedora Core 4

    That includes PHP 5.0

    If you run PHP 5.0, you have to change the /etc/php.ini file to set a variable, as follows:

    register_long_arrays=On

    (use a text editor to change it).

    That fixes the problem of not being able to login after the first time.
