Default Local Server Running SugarCRM, Pulic Server Running Mambo

Is it possible to have SugarCRM push and pull information from a public web server, instead of having mambo push and pull information from Sugar? I want to run SugarCRM on a local server (trixbox), and use a public web space for mambo. My SugarCRM server will not have a DNS name, and the IP address will change.

From what I have read about the Mambo integration, your SugarCRM server must have a DNS name.

Thank you for any help in advance.

Hi C12H22O11, I'll leave it to the experts to chime in on your specific question but I wanted to pass along my congratulations for a witty screen name: C12H22O11.
