How's this even possible? We've not heard any news regarding the overhaul that is currently underway (I am extremely frustrated)
How is it that you were able to get this to work? Did you actually re-code a giant part of the plugin?
Give us the details!
Not much recoding done - only a few lines! It is a hack but works very well, does not crash just acts as the portal should. I shall give more details on it when I have completed testing with Joomla 1.0.1!
- Joomla Portal must be a priority!!
Julian has been working on this also and is planning to post his work in a couple days. It did require changes in both the soap apis (in 3.5.1) and in the mambo components. jripper beat us to the punch?![]()

Hi Guys
I am looking at Joomla (Mambo) and am keen to get something working on our staging servers, so that we can develop further.
Has this integration been got working? If so can we see the 'hacks' mentioned earlier, to assist other community members?
Sorry, sounds frustrated, did not mean it too, just trying an failing to get portal working..
Cheers
Graham
I have the same problem,
I've tried to integrate these apps several times but no luck. The information is scatttered between two places (sugarforge and these forums) that are usually referring to older versions of Joomla!/Mambo CMS and SugarCRM.
We are using Joomla! 1.0.2 and SugarCRM 3.5.1b and there's really no way we can downgrade these apps just to make the integration working. Hopefully Julian can post his work in couple of days.
Anyway thanks for the great app!

Where are the tips, patches and docs on howto integrate Sugar Open Source Version 3.5.1 and Mambo Version 4.5.2. I am getting the following error from mambo Failed to connect to Sugar Sales database, please check your configuration when I try to configure SugarCRM. I notice the file is no longer called soap.php so I am using SoapPortalUsers.php instead. Can anyone help me out.
Thanks
Jim
I was able to get it working. Looking forward to the Cases integration.
jvane,
What did you do to get this integration to work? Can you post the solution? Thanks.
Rich
