Has anyone integrated Sugar with Drupal instead of Mambo?
With the Drupal User Hook, and SOAP support, surely it shouldn't be too hard...

My company - CaseySoftware, LLC - is working on integrating Sugar with a number of things, but Drupal hasn't been one of them.
What sort of functionality would you want/need to share between the systems?
Have you done a sugar-drupal integration yet?
thanks

is this topic dead?
has no one integrated sugar and drupal?
Hi
My company Optimal Technologies is using SugarCRM with Drupal and we found it very simple and easy to use as compared to Mambo or Salesforce.com. We had implemented both Drupal and SugarCRM through OSSCube and are very much satisfied of their efforts. I am not sure if I'll be able to tell you exactly how to do it. But I am sure that if you approach OSSCube, they'll give you solution to your problem. Go to their website if you want any additional information.

Actually, I'm the one who owns the module at sugarforge, and currently I'm making a Drupal 6 rewrite of the whole connector. Now that I've integrating Drupal and Sugar for more than 2 years and with >20 succeeding setups, I'm able to understand what are the requirements for both Drupal and SugarCRM. But right now, in this moment, I'm evaluating the new WebServices interface (TestFest thread is hot enough) Version 2 because it seems to perform much better.
http://drupal.org/project/sugarondrupal will be the final location of the module (as well as sugarforge), and http://sugarondrupal.drtsg.net is the devel blog where I'll be noticing about updates.
In any case, as I said, I'm currently involved in the WebService testing as the module relies complete on this component.
Cheers,
ilo
