I've installed SugarPortal and it seems to work just fine.

However, if someone self-registers from the login screen, they are thanked and informed that someone will contact them shortly.

Where the heck does that request go?

SugarPortal is now being bundled with the enterprise edition. It is a separate download. It is available for sale to the commercial version, but I doubt it's availalble at all for the open source community.

Contact your SugarCRM rep for details.

By the way, self-registration requests go into the LEADS module. Of course as a tech support guy, I didn't even have LEADS active, so it took a while to find it.
