    Cool Web Self Service Portal

What a misleading name on a mambo component that there's so much trouble with...?
I not very impressed with the mambo approach of yours, I must say :-/
Leads collector... with hacking mambo and make the system useless for other features??
A simple 10k standalone file would better do the job...right?!

My suggestion is for you to do some changes on this one :
FORGET SOAP! And EASILY make a component of the codebase that EXISTS from the
main system and make a component that does the job directly with the db.

    1. Continue a stand alone OS version.
    2. Make a full featured Mambo Component of the OS version with a much better user control.
(automatically make a login/pwd when creating an account in the system to use for mambo)
Which enable them to communicate, add/edit/delete their information accounts/contacts.. more...
and take advantage of thousands of other features that are made and compatible with the mambo
    system.

Unhappy Re: Web Self Service Portal

    SOAP is used for Outlook.
SOAP is used for Wireless access from any website.
And SOAP is very useful to create totally independant modules.

I would never imagine they abandon SOAP, and I hope they won't, unless you really have a good alternative
