Adding project associativity to docments

Ia m trying to add a new field in the Document screen. I want to add a field that will associate the document with a project from a pull down list. I would like the projects that are already in sugar to show up in this pulldown list. Has anyone done this before or can anyone give an advice on associating documents with projects.

I think for project associativity to docments we must edit php files.

Yes - you are correct - this requires software changes. It is something I agree is important for Projects - it is one of the features we have added in Info At Hand.

easier way is just to add a "note or attachment" to a project. The document will be stored in the history section of the project, altho it won't be viewable in the documents module.
