Default Project Gantt Scheduling - ASAP v. ALAP

It appears that the project module is setup for tasks to start as soon as possible, indicating that the project start date is the key milestone. Whereas in reality all projects (ok all well planned projects) have the key milestone as the end date. This means project tasks need to be scheduled to start as late as possible (ALAP) if you follow Theory of Constraints principles. Therefore, first is my assumption correct that project tasks are all ASAP in the scheduling? And second, can the Sugar team consider making this an option in projects for future upgrades? Everyone's thoughts?

    Hi!

    I have the same thoughts.
For one of my client I have already changed display of tasks for Caledar module.

    Cheers,
