There are a lot of projectmanagement solutions available, but as far I searched all are focused on software development.

For other businesses we need the following:
Time scheduling (is available in nearly all programs)
Time registration

The missing part for other businesses is:
Equipment planning (Recourses per task)
Material planning (Bill of material per task)

In my opinion not so difficult to create, When use an e-commerce application like virtuemart and connect the task code as a customer you are able to print material order per supplier. Even employee recourses and subcontractors could be entered into this application in order to print a kind of Job Orders.

Did anyone thought about this or maybe allready build this kind of solution? It would make the project application usefull for contractor's, service organizations and many others.
