Project and task Management for multiple accounts

Hello All,

I'm really new to the SugarCRM software and seem to be running into a problem that many others have in the past. What I'm attempting to do is create a couple of project templates with assigned tasks that can be duplicated or copied into our new accounts. So basically when I get a new customer I can quickly assign project A, with tasks 1,2,3, project B with tasks 1,2,3, etc. etc.

I have set up a project with the assigned tasks, but when I go to duplicate the project the tasks don't duplicate as well and I can't assign the project to any new account.

I would REALLY love to get some help on this issue. It would make my life much more enjoyable.

I believe there is a duplicate project module on SugarForge that will accomplish what you want. I've never used it though. It would be nice if that functionality was built or. Or maybe they could use a more accurate word than "duplicate".

I have found that the duplicate module on sugarforge works well at duplicating the project with its tasks, but I can't assign the duplicated project to an opportunity or account. Do you know of a way of doing this? It seems pointless to have a duplicated project without being able to put it somewhere.

Any help would be great.
