We intend to use sugarcrm to manage all of our core backend activity. We are a new retail startup. Our problem is how at least 3-5 departments feed the sales agent with accurate information. For example, if a customer pays into our bank account, it's the responsibility of the accounts department to confirm the payment and make sure he updates payment confirmed, so that the agent can inturn confirm with the client. We want a situation whereby the agent can simply click and say, payment status: customer confirmed. Then Accounts department can always get alert and check into sugarcrm to also update whether payment as been received or not. Our intention is to do this for a few other departments, like warehousing, shipping, etc..
