"To" field blank

I create a quote associated with an account and with a contact. Both have an email address.
But, when I want to send the quote in PDF by email by clicking on the button "Email as PDF", the "to" field is blank.
Is it a bug ?
And, when I don't indicate a contact but the account has an email address, is it possible that the "to" field" indicates the account email address ?

The subject of the email generated by "Email as PDF" button shall include the reference corresponding to the original lead (e.g., [L0001:]) and also a user-defined default text (instead of "Quote for:" )
