Czech translation

Hi,

there is a czech language pack for SCRM OS 4.2
We would like to make translation for 451 OS a possibly other editions.

I have browsed some of these topics, but they all seem to be either about older versions or not considering limited knowledge of how languages are designed in Sugar.

We have installed Sugar translation suite and played around with it, but not getting results we want (prolly beacuse we just dont know how to use it).

Please direct me to where to find info on how to tackle this or give some hints please.

We are determined to go through all the files and compare english original and czech files and add lines added since version 4.2.
But from what i read in other forums, i understand there is an easier way.

I envision a tool which compares english files from 4.5.1 with the czech 4.2 and displays entries that are not in czech 4.2 and lets me translate it. or anything that will make our task easier.

Well we have found out how to use Translation Suite and are working on a translation.

There seems to be a problem with charset though. When we enter the proper charactes (such as ěščř) and click update, the characters change to ?. Any hints where to look to correct the charset ?

I do have translation for actual version of the sugar, but had problem to contact administrators of the Czech groups

Hi,

I was in touch with one of the authors. I will try to email him a let you know.
Otherwise start another group and we will join. We already have a translation that we use so we can actually work together.
