French Pack Time Consuming Errors

Hello,

Spent many hours trying to figure out why a workflow wasn't working within the parameters I set to it.

So I checked, rechecked, deleted, redid, rechecked the workflow and it still didn't work withing parameters.

Lots of time lost, time lost = money loss.....

Parameters are quite simple

When and OPP changes to the sale stage won AND that the amount is over 49000.00

In french it looks like this :

Quand un champ du module cible contient une valeur spécifiée Montant: Supérieur à 49000.00
Quand Phase de vente: est modifié pour ou vers une valeur spécifiée Egal Gagné

If you run this in babelfish you'll see it's withing parameters. but wasn't working. So this morning I thought, what if what i see written in french is not what it is in english and TADA

Under english platform :
When a field in the target module contains a specified value Opportunity Amount: Less Than 49000.00
When Sales Stage: changes to or from specified value Equals Closed Won

You can see that it's giving me a go on OPP's under 49000 where as in french i want Superior.

So will change the workflow in english.

But is there anyway to correct the language packs ?

Anyone know if there are other MAJOR mistakes like that, that makes you loose time ?

Thanks for your feedback, it will be repair in the next release.
Unfortunatly you caught 2 from something like 15 000 traductions (sometimes one word sometimes entire paragraph) and I hope so you will'nt found some other mistakes like that.

Actually there is one other mistake I am aware of, but it's of no big importance.

It's in the workflows again, in conditions :

Quand Probabilité est modifié pour ou vers une valeur spécifiée est prami: 50 %, 75 %, ou 90 %

It should read parmi

But like I said, it's no biggie, human brain being what it is, it reads it parmi anyways.

Such errors must be solve by the professionals to avoid the problem of the more complicated errors.
A normal person can't deal with these errors.
