Language pack sync tool

Hello Malcolm,

I definitely thought of adding that. A new project named "Sugar Translation Suite" was just registered on SugarForge.org, so I'd like to hold off a bit and see what they have. If their functionality covers sync_lang.php, I'll just defer to their project. Maybe I can work with them to fix a few of the bugs we ran into here.

sounds like a good plan, it is a pain to look over thousands of code lines to find the few which are new.....

Hello all,

sync_lang.php has been updated to work with Sugar 4.5.0 (and earlier). Only a few minimal changes were required.

One problem with the above file-- it will not sync language files for Dashlets. I was not aware Dashlets introduced their own path for language files-- I'll fix the script and repost it within the week.

Your application is very good but how you can then peek at it that the tongue of the original has many duplicates very much and perhaps it is worthwhile so that it is so that throws them out?

Hello Tom,

Checking for duplicates would be a good idea. Markku Suominen has been kind enough to identify many of the duplicates in our existing language files, but I haven't had the time to fix them-- I'll try to do this for an upcoming patch.

1) Extract the new Sugar files into a directory on your webserver
2) Extract your existing language pack into the directory
3) Copy sync_lang.php into the main Sugar directory
4) Open sync_lang.php and confirm that the settings are correct
