Spanish language pack for 5.2

Hi,

I tried to set the spanish pack 5.1 into Sugarcrm 5.2 but I obtained a compatibility error.

How can I solve this problem?

Hello Eduardo.

You are trying to use a language pack which doesn't support Sugar 5.2.0.

See this note http://www.sugarforge.org/docman/vie...ar-version.txt for information on how to change a language pack for supporting later releases of Sugar, although you may find some problems as the latest Spanish language pack does not include the translation of many strings introduced in Sugar 5.2.0.

The Spanish language pack for Sugar 5.2 is still a work in progress.

In case someone wants to use this pack with future versions of Sugar (e.g. 5.3), check this note about changing the Sugar versions supported by a language pack:

I have changed the language in the "Locale Settings" it works ok, but In the admin I see all into english...

But in the Logging page I see into spanish.

Where I can change it?

As you have already seen, you can change the default language in the Locale Settings section of the Administration area. After changing the default language to Spanish, you will see the log-in screen in that language, as expected.

However, in order to use a specific language in a Sugar session you have to be sure it is selected in the log-in screen clicking on the "Opciones/Options" link and choosing the language you want for your Sugar session. Unfortunately, after installing the Spanish language pack, the English language remains the first in the list of selectable languages on the log-in screen.

You can change this list editing the config.php file on the root folder of your Sugar installation and changing:

  array (
    'en_us' => 'US English',  
    'es_es' => 'Español',   
  ), 
  

to

  array (
    'es_es' => 'Español', 
    'en_us' => 'US English',  
  ),
