subpanels titles in 5.1.0 CE spanish package

Hi, everybody.
I have upgraded to 5.1.0 CE from 5.0.0f CE.
I've been having some problems with subpanels.
As long as I create new relationships among modules, for example: between module 1 and module 2, the subpanels labels appear as "LBL_xxx_yyy_FROM_yyy_TITLE",
where xxx=module 1
and yyy=module 2

It happens this way no matter whether module 1 and/or module 2 are built-in modules or custom modules.

BUT THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I LOG-IN IN SPANISH. IF I LOG-IN IN ENGLISH, THE TITLES APPEAR OK.
(Of course... I need to log-in in spanish... )

To make it clear: the subpanel label shown when I log in in english is "Compras relacionadas". When I log in in spanish, it's "LBL_AV_EVENTOS_AV_CONTROL_COMPRAS_FROM_AV_CONTROL _COMPRAS_TITLE".

¿Is there a solution? ¿How can I fix it?

My installation is: Sugar CE 5.1.0, with spanish package 5.0.0f

Hello Veronika.

you are using a language pack not supported with Sugar 5.1.0. There are strings used in Sugar 5.1.0 which are not included in the 5.0.0f language pack.

Thanks a lot for your response.
I edited the manifest.php under the root folder, but it still happens the same.
I think it will be better to wait for a compatible spanish package for the 5.1.0.

Hi Veronica,

you may want to try the latest CVS sources of the language pack. Take a look here (http://www.sugarforge.org/scm/?group_id=53) for instructions on how to access the CVS repository. It contains the ongoing work on the Spanish language pack for Sugar 5.1.0.

I believe that even the complete language pack won't help you here. If I remember correctly there is a problem with creating the proper language files under custom somewhere. The system creates a en_us.lang file but with the Spanish labels in it. So you probably need to copy this en_us to es_es in order to be recognized properly (and change the en_us ones so that they show the English labels).
Sorry for being a bit vague but I know that this is the problem, I am just too busy currently in order to dig into it again.

Hi, Robert, thanks for the post.

I'm afraid I had already done this. I supposed it had something to do with the us_en... and the es_es... (spanish translations). I made a complete search of the us_en files and copied them upon the es_es ones... but that didn't fix the problem.

There are some i18n related bugs which have been fixed in Sugar 5.0.0g and 5.0.0h. I'm not sure whether the fixes have been included in Sugar 5.1.0 (you can check it here http://bugs.sugarcrm.com/) or might be related with the issue you are experiencing.

I could fix it. Go to /custom/extension/modules/yourmodule/ext/language and copy the en_us to es_es (the text in there should be Spanish already). This is for the subpanel.

The text for the screen you can change by going into the layout and change the label directly. Do not forget to run the admin/repair/rebuild javascript languages.
And I believe aserrano is correct - one of the things that (hopefully) was fixed in 5h but not yet in 5.1
