Hi. Im translating as we speek. I have also started our own "club" under: International Zones, it should be up in a few days. Check for "Sweden" there.
Thats a forum for us from Sweden. There we can help eachother easy.
Anyway.. i have just started..so if u like to give me a hand, please let me know, and i tell u how we can split it.

Hej,
In order to split work the first thing you need is dictionary (what is lead, prospect, dashlet). As the language files are pretty much module specific, you can then assign different modules to different team members to translate.
I also suggest you to setup common repository for translated files on Sugarforge.net.
Med vänlig hälsningar,
- Markku
Hi, Markku, i use Babylon v6.0 as an dictionary.
When i ran in to some words, not knowing what it means, or the best way to translate, i am gona have a thread, like an repository, for a discussion whats the best swedish word to use.
I hope i get some people to take some of the modules.
If i start a thread in the Swedish Zone, called "Svenska ordboken för SugarCRM", could u make it Sticky?
(Swedish dictionary for SugarCRM)
PS. I have tried the different Translation Scrips on the forum. Dont like them though..But i use Beyond Compare, to check the difference between Swedish L. Pack 4.2 to the en_gb-v4.5.1d. Think its pretty easy that way. Abit manually...but then again..it´s only about 70 files..and many of them havent changes.
I haven figured out how to "compile" the package jet. But thats a later question.
Right now..its time to mow the gras.
PS2. I posted a private message to "clint" regarding i want to start a New International Zone. Maybe something u could fix?

You can download any of the existing language packs (French for example) and check the structure including manifest.phpIf i start a thread in the Swedish Zone, called "Svenska ordboken för SugarCRM", could u make it Sticky?

i know, i have seen that. But there is not Swedish...but we already have International Zone here:
Clint havent answered me yet. Was about 3 days ago i send a private message. Maybe i did somthing wrong?, or he is on holliday...
Anyway... regarding the Translation to Swedish. I am soon finish.
I don't think i will bee finished today.. (and tomorrow i go away for a while, holliday). I might be able to finish the translations, but not the Compile thing...+ testing.
I just had a quick look at an manifest.php...but didn´t figured out whats is for.
Could anywone help me with that...we might be able to launch the Swedish pakage today. But we also need to run tests..so any volunteers for Package testing (TODAY, ASAP) would help...
Our version should be a preferd new installed SugarCRM 4.5.1d.

If you can send me your translated files I'm happy to create install package for you. Sugar module installer uses manifest.php when installing language packs.
I have now finished translating. I also tried to do a manifest.php file. But somehow it does´nt seems to work....![]()
When i add the Lag.pack from Module Loader, (from local file) the screen "flicks" for a second and then it returns to the Module Loader Startpage. With no Lang. pack able to install.
Think something in manifest..no clue what though...
I send u a the file Markku...maybe u can help me finish up.

Hi guys.
Since you are so close to home... I hope you can help me.
I am using Sugar OS 4.5.1e.
And I want norwegian charsett. æøå.
I have installed norwegian langpack, but of course all the æøå's are outputting rubbish.
I also have a Joomla integration where I show cases in Joomla. Pretty neet.
But when I use æøå in joomla sugar extension, the text stops before the first æøå letter. Everything after øæå is gone. So I figure this is database issue. but I do not know how to fix it.
Can any of you tell me what to do so I get my æøå's?
Tusen takk, på forhånd.

Hi, where did you download norwegian langpack? Which version? I could take a look.
Most likely Joomla! is not using UTF-8, and that causes issues. You need to tweak current Joomla! 1.0.x to use UTF-8, or wait until 1.5 comes out.
