    Default about ending a session

    Hello everyone,
I use sugar crm version 5.20e . I like to know if there is any way of ending a session when users mistakenly close their browser using close bottom, instead of loging out. I take daily reports on the time that each user has spent on sugar and some times I get wrong numbers. For example it shows that a user has worked 23 hours a day which is not true. Can any one help me on this? I want to be able to change settings of sessions in this version of sugar.
    Regards,
    Khalil

Default Re: about ending a session

There isn't a way to directly end the session other than waiting for the session timeout. However in Sugar 6.0, we focused on this area in more detail. In the Professional and Enterprise editions, we track sessions within the application database for reporting purposes. In 6.0, we now run a scheduled job periodically marks old sessions as expired in the tracker_sessions table.

Take a look in the Admin->Schedulers screen and you will see the new "Update tracker_sessions table" scheduler. This runs the function updateTrackerSessions which will mark orphaned sessions as expired in the tracker_sessions table.
