hello,
it should be possible for an admin to view and edit the user preferences (e.g. look of the homepage).
currently this information is stored in the table user_preferences, however in a base64 coded way, so that you cannot even view it with a database browser (e.g. phpmyadmin).
suggestion is to have the functionality added to the user maintenance screen (.../index.php?module=Users), where the decoded information is shown.
background:
we have several employees using sugar and whenever a new one is joining we need to manually configure certain things with the employees user id (e.g. arangements of dashlets on the homepage).
also for issue tracking it would be good, to see which settings a user has defined.
