Angry Alpha Sort on Available Fields in Lead Wizard

Can you PLEASE put some kind of a sort on the thing that populates this box? I'd like to be able to sort it by alpha (default) but also by creation date (so that the ones I just added will be at the top).

OMG! By the time I get all my custom fields created to hold all the data that we already capture via other means, I'm going to be cursing you all so much that it's not going to be a matter of your ears burning beause someone is talking about you. I think your entire deveopment team's heads will probably simultaneously ignite..... And that would be a bad bad thing... so lets not go there and just fix this... mmmmkkkkaaaay????

    Great suggestion morrighu.

    I'll add the following.

Like in the Mac/Linux/Windows desktop's Explorer/Finder/"Open"/"Save As.." windows, all of the Sugar Pick Lists and List Views should inherit from a base class that provides AJAX HTML5-compatible click-to-sort column headers.

When you click on any column header in Sugar (Name, Date, Size, etc.), the view should alternate between "sort ascending" and "sort descending" the rows using that column as the sort key. It should automatically work like this nearly everywhere in Sugar.

Same thing for the Detail Views. There should be AJAX HTML5-compatible Previous and Next buttons, on all Detail Views, automatically. Implemented in the base class, and should work without intervention from any module developer, or require any modifications to 3rd party modules. It should just work.

This has been addressed in 6.4.2 via Bug 50219 noted below.

Bug 50219 - SugarCRM Bug Tracker | Open Source Business & Social CRM - SugarCRM

This allows the available fields in the lead form creation wizard to be sortable (Campaigns > Create Lead Form > Available Fields).
