Auto create files when creating new accounts

hi all,

Hoping for someone to clarify on whether the following is currently achievable or is there an extension that can do this.

My business relies on having a set series of documents for each client "account", and at the moment we are paperbased. With SugarCRM, I am hoping to have the application automatically create these set documents for each new account that has been created.

These documents should be based on templates of various document types (xls, doc, pdf...etc)

Is this possible?

HI,
In sugarcrm what you are asking for is not avaible.also template base is not available.

But it is possible to develop such things.

There isn't a way to do this out of the box, but it can be done via a logic hook without too much effort. I am, however, assuming that all you are wanting to do is create and link a copy of the referenced files, not actually merge content into them.
