custom Dropdown list disappeared after deploy

Hello,

I have some problems with custom dropdowlist i created for a new field in a new Module built whith module Builder.
When i first deploy, the module works as expected, and i can see my dropdown list.
Unfortunately, after a couple of changes, and a couple of deployemnet process, it stopws working!.
The dropdow have disappeared from the module builder, and the when i try to create in front end an boject containint that dropdown, it shows me in the Checklit the name of the dropdown, instead of its values!

has anybody found a solution to this?

When you create a dropdown through Module Builder SugarCRM creates the dropdown at custom/include/language, which is not zipped into published package.
A workaround would be: export the studio customization, unzip the package, remove what you don´t want and install the package into new system.

Hello Andre,

I'm into similar kind of situation where I make changes on a CUSTOM module then deploy. Everything works ok but it keeps reverting changes that I made through Studio on a NATIVE module (i.e. Leads).

I guess the question will be how can I make changes in CUSTOM, then deploy without overwriting other changes that I made in LEADS module.

Publish the package instead (it will enable you download the installer);
Attach this package so we can figure out what is going one.

Here you go Andre, thanks and any directions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the premise of my issues:
- Leads has many custom fields that I created but only one particular field gets wiped out everytime that I deploy
- This particular field is a relate field to a custom module

Here are some of the things that I tried:
- I created the following file: /custom/Extension/modules/Leads/Ext/Vardefs/sugarfield_seminar_venue_c.php (yes, this is the field that gets wiped out)
- I created entries in this file: /custom/modules/Leads/Ext/Vardefs/vardefs.ext.php (I added the field here, since its a relate, there is the ID and the actual field)
