Hello
At the moment it's only possible to "archive" incoming emails.
It's not possible to store them in folders. Too bad
Also the search feature is really weak, we can only search on the title.
Are they plans to enhance this?
Thanks

That would make life in my company alot easier also. That is the main reason most of my employees still use outlook is for organizaition purposes.
If that feature was added, my company would be totally sold on Sugar.

We never used Outlook before and actually had to start using Outlook because of the Sugar Email client.

Actually I see the issue in 2 ways :
- the sugarcrm management team prefer to sell outlook plugins rather than having a real mail client
- or the sugarcrm developers are not using the software for their own company (otherwise they'll have noticed that this is probably one of the main lacking feature)
At the moment from what I see as new features in the 4.5 editions (forums, home page personnalization...) I think they are not using the tool. Those new features will be at no use for us and I believe for most of us...
Incoming (and outgoing) emails should automatically attach to the history of the contact to whom the email is addressed. That is the way Goldmine works, and it is very useful.
Sugar really needs to improve the ability to create email group lists and easily address email messages to them. That should be simple and quick. As it is, I have not figured out how to do that AT ALL, let alone do it easily.
There should also be an easy way to attach a photo or logo file (jpg, etc.) to an email. I have looked carefully and can not find any button to push to do that. Am I missing something? Or, is it just missing?
Those are the immediate things I think would vastly improve the email client for Sugar.
I hope the designers are listening. This is important.
Best,
Rick
