I would like to be able to create a target or contact directly into a target list, like we can with accounts. The idea of creating a new target and having to go to the list to add them is awkward.

I realize that you do this so that we don’t dupe targets, but in this case when we choose “select” we are give a search screen and you already use the convention of having a "create" button under this screen in "accounts" – best practice has user search then create.
