Mass Homepage creation

The ability to create Homepage Templates with Dashlets, Multiple Pages etc. and then assign them to users based on Roles.

For Example all my Sale Support Staff would have one type of Homepage, all my Sales staff would have another, all my Accountants would then have another again...

Currently it could take a couple of Hour to just configure Homapages for 10 -20 users... I have over 200 and its been a nightmare..

Could this is a feature in 6.X ????

If you look in 'modules/USerPreferneces/userPreference.php you will find a bunch of methods for capturing and saving UserPreferences sucha s homepage configuration. You can then build a module to capture the Homepage and apply it on login using any criteria..rolls, teams etc.

That would be ideal, any simple How Do out there for this?
