We are planning to release the plug-ins with support for the Office 2010 applications along with versions 6.1 or 6.2 of Sugar.

I realize that there are no promises on release dates, but the Office 2010 plugin is obviously very important to many people including myself.
I recently pitched this product to our company and we invested in it for our sales team. The reviews of the product are impressive and I have enjoyed working with it over the past week. However, like many other sales teams MS Office is a key component in our everyday work. We recently upgraded to Office 2010 and integration into SugarCRM is critical to me to successfully deploy this within our sales team. We have been using OneNote within Office because it is fast, easy, and integrates smoothly with Outlook. The problem is that it is not a CRM.
I asked one of your salesmen what the ETA is and he said spring 2011. That is unsettling. Could you please give a close estimate on timing? A lot of development time is going into this and I need to be confident that it is the right solution for my company.
    Thank You.

    Hi,
I have Sugar 6 professional for 170 sales professionals and my team upgraded to Outllook 2010.
Can we please get a rought time line of when you are expecting the Outlook 2010 plug-in or Sugar 6.1?

    Exclamation Re: Office 2010 Plug-In's

This is quickly becoming very critical to our company as well. We're starting a new hardware roll out that will upgrade our users from Office 2000 to Office 2010 (yeah I know big jump). Those that are using Sugar currently are on Outlook 2007 only not the full suite, which means they will be getting the Office 2010 upgrade. Office integration is a mission critical feature for us and an ETA would be very helpful.

What about Microsoft office 2008 and 2010 for Apple Mac. Does these plugins support them from Sugar 6?

A friend from Sugar invited me to chime in on this topic.

For those of you who have an immediate need for Sugar CE, Sugar Professional or Sugar Enterprise integration for Outlook 2010, Outlook Web Access, Entourage for Mac 2008, Mac Mail, Outlook Web Access, BlackBerry, iPhone or other Exchange ActiveSync mobile devices, take a look at Riva Integration Server (or Riva Live - our cloud-based Sugar integration solution).

Riva delivers transparent, server-side integration of Sugar and Exchange calendar and address book data and Sugar opportunities, cases, quotes, projects and other modules. In addition, Riva provides advanced Sugar integration features that reduce manual data entry and automate the creation of Sugar content and archival of emails.

Following is a link that compares Riva with traditional Outlook CRM plug-ins:

Count us in as needing the updated plug-in. I'm sorry, but a 3rd party expensive subscription product is not a good alternative to an included, lightweight and excellent utility.
