The History table can be sorted by Subject, Status or Date Modified. It should also be possible to sort it using StartDate & Time or some other customizable property.
As it is today a simple edit just to correct a spelling error will change the order which items are displayed in the history table,,, which means it no longer shows "History" from a customer contact perspective.
