When will the SugarCRM Portal be enhanced? There has been very little development on this under 6.0.0, yet their are fundamental issues with it that with a little work would make this a useful feature; for example:
1. Knowledge Base:
a. Search should include attachments
b. Why can't the portal view of the knowledge base display in tree sturcture like in KB Admin
2. FAQ:
a. This is almost unusable as the HTML you edit is displayed differently.
3. Case and Bug Tracker:
a. Search options need to be more extensive; for example Date Raised, Date Updated, Logged By, etc...
b. Include advanced search ala the main application
4. General:
a. Password hardening from the main applicaiton should carry through to the portal
b. Where is the new 6.0.0 look and feel?
c. Provide Portal Editor in the studio to simplify customisation; for example adding tabs
d. Provide some documentation
e. Improve performance
One of the reasons why use Enterprise was for the customer portal. So far we have been disappointed with the functionality that is available. Please can you review this and commit some development time to it?
