    Default Time Zone Look-up

When cold-calling a list of prospects, leads, etc. it would be beneficial if there were a way to automatically display the time based on the individual record's zip code, area code, etc. I normally look-up the area code before making the call to make sure that I am not calling too early/late or even during a potential lunch break.

I would think the feature would be simple enough to implement, but I would be interested to see if others would find this useful. We call on customers/leads from throughout the United States and I find it important to know (at a quick glance) what time it is where I am preparing to call. Is this something that could/should be added to Sugar or left to individual implementation?

I personally think this would make a good plugin and not something SugarCRM would implement.

I think you could probably make this with a few API calls to a webservice. If you use SugarCRM's Logic Hook for "before_display" you can probably grab the timezone and display the current time.

    Logic Hooks info: http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...le=Logic_Hooks

Sugar Wiki for developer and user help
SugarForge for modules, themes, lang packs
    SugarExchange for production-ready extensions

Very interested in this. Anything on the market that can do this?
