User specific search criteria

MANY times one level of user should be able to search by a criteria which another level of user either has no need to or should not be able to search by.

For instance a salesperson should not be able to see or search by other salespeople's names, but a manager should.

It would be nice to be able to manage which search criteria were available.

Perhaps it could be governed by roles which already allows field level control.

Just change the View for your specific module to 'Owner' for your Salesperson role.
