Accounts doesn't save custom fields

When I create a new account it doesn't save the custom fields.
Did somebody have this problem?
Is it solved?

The same is happening with the contacts.

Hi,
check your access rights - the webserver-user has to have "write" rights for the "custom" directory, as the field metadata is stored there.

That's potentially the issue, but I doubt it.

I am working on my own PC, with all the rights as administrator and loading data as sugar admin.

anyone found the answer to this yet? I am having trouble with the contacts module doing the same thing.

I have created customs fields (check boxes) in Cases and data is not stored when I edit the case. Using 3.01b. There is no point haveing custom fields if they won't store data......Anyone have a solution??
