Add activities and history subpanel to custom module

Can anyone point me to thorough documentation on how to do this?

I tried adding a one to many relationship from my custom module (prams_Addresses) to activities, but I just get an error on the detail view.

I've tried adding one to many relationships from prams_Addresses to Tasks, Calls, Meetings, and Notes. I copied the subpaneldefs from Prospects to my prams_Addresses metadata folder. Now it saves records to the Tasks table, but doesn't show them in the Activities subpanel list.

There has to be a clear way to do this?

try creating relationship with your custom module and activities module. that should do the trick..

You could create relations through studio.
Admin->Studio

I should have been more clear, that is the first thing I tried. It gives an error on the Addresses detail view and the Activities subpanel does not show.
