In the post at

I have asked for help in setting SugarCRM up to audit a field in a relationship table.
Harold was great in helping me understand how to audit a relationship field in a module (see the post for full details) but what I want to do is audit a field that is only viewable/editable in a subpanel, NOT in any module directly.
For example, say you wanted to audit the contact_role field in the opportunities_contacts relationship table. A contact could be a different role in different opportunities and an opportunity could have many contacts serving a role in the opportunity, making this a many-to-many relationship. Therefore, the contact_role field is only viewable in the subpanels of Opportunities and in Contacts. So there is no place in any module where the contact_role has a relate field showing.
In this situation, is it possible to:
- create an audit table for the opportunities_contacts relationship table?
- audit the contact_role field
If so, can you explain what I need to do to make this happen?
Thanks
