Datatype to upload an Image

Hai Guys,
Can anyone guide me to create a custom datatype to upload an image. I created a custom module using Module builder to enter the details and status of a project by am employee. Here i want to add a field in which user can able to upload an image/text file about the project.

The work you done was great and fine. But, i am new to Sugar and i like to develop modules and new datatype to understand how the sugar works. So, let you guide me to create a datatype in sugar.
